Guest facilities

Salt water swimming pool

Guests have the use of our salt water filtration open air heated swimming pool. The pool and terrace were installed in 2010 and since its opening in May 2011 this facility has proved to be ever popular with guests. The 85m² terrace with its loungers and table and chairs provides plenty of comfortable space for families to enjoy a sunny day together. You can view some photos of the pool in the gallery below and read more about its installation in our blog post here.

Kon Tiki Pool Bar

Guests also have the use of our poolside bar, where there is cold beer, wine and soft drinks available, funded via an honesty box in the bar. Conceived just as a piece of fun that has turned out to be a very useful facility in the heat of summer, you can read more on our blog about the construction of The Kon Tiki Bar here and view some photos in the gallery below.

Guests are welcome to take their own drinks to the pool but any glassware in the pool area is regrettably forbidden for safety reasons. The bar is stocked with a range of elegant plastic drinksware which should be used.

Barbecues, games, books and TV

Both gîtes have charcoal burning  BBQ sets and each gîte has a large covered area for either cooking in the shade or, if needs must, sheltering from any rare inclement weather! There are tennis racquets, sets of boules, various pool inflatables, a croquet set and footballs for use outside. Inside, each gîte has English satellite television, DVD/CD players and shelves of books and magazines.
